Welcome to the Westborough Friends of Scouting Grant Application. This application will help introduce your organization and/or request to our Charity and provide us an opportunity to consider your proposal. As an active service group in the Westborough area, we receive many funding requests. We consider each request carefully and do our best to allocate our club’s resources effectively.
Please read our guidelines below before submitting your request. Also please note the deadlines for the submission of requests, as detailed below.

WFOS Grant Guidelines:
In addition to using our discretion to determine how best to allocate our WFOS’s resources, we also review donation requests to ensure they meet these guidelines:
- No after the fact requests will be considered
- Funds are not used for:
- General operating expenses
- Salaries
- Funding a fundraiser
- Funding religious projects or mission trips
- Funding political or partisan requests
- Recognition/attribution/acknowledgment of this contribution from The Westborough Friends of Scouting should be made wherever and whenever possible
- In addition, we request you to be available to present your program information at a Westborough Friends of Scouting meeting and share with us any follow-up stories about your project.
- Requests to fund recurring annual events must be applied for annually. (Approval for any individual request is not a guarantee of future approvals).
